ANIMWAA OBENG-AKROFI
Senior Facilitator / Strategist
Animwaa pronounced E-nim-waa (She/her) is a highly rated and engaging facilitator with several years of experience in course facilitation, training and teaching topics around race, racism, anti-racism, cultural competency, exclusion and inclusion.
She has facilitated several diversity workshops with government agencies, service providers, and non-profit institutions.
Animwaa has a PhD from the University of Calgary where she studied sociology with a focus on racism, ethnicity, inclusion, exclusion, migration and transnationalism. Furthermore, she is a change manager with the Prosci® change management certification.
With this knowledge and experience, she has developed strategies that have revamped and created inclusive workspaces for her clients.
She was a sessional instructor at the University of Calgary where she taught about race and ethnicity.
Additionally, Animwaa has international experience from Ghana where she was a teaching and research assistant at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
MABEL TEYE-KAU
Researcher /Evaluator
Mabel (She/her) is a fourth-year PhD candidate with the Department of Sociology, University of Calgary, as of early 2023.
She has developed surveys and interview guides; evaluated several qualitative and quantitative data; and presented findings at well-known national and international conferences.
She has co-authored four publications in high-rated peer review journals including the Canadian Ethnic studies and the Canadian studies in Population journals

Tolulope Habib (She/her) is a Certified HR Professional and Talent Acquisition expert who has carved a niche in helping organizations attract and retain high-performing talent while eliminating bias and stereotypes from the process.
She is an excellent communicator and trainer who helps her clients develop and sharpen soft skills. Her professional experiences include recruitment, strategic program management, coaching, employee relations, training/employee development, change management and organizational development.
She is often called the Queen of networking by her friends as she excels at networking and helps even the most introverted individuals step out of their comfort zone to network and enjoy the dividend of networking.
